Have an unwavering commitment to your beliefs. Remain firm and stable in spite of any challenges or doubts. It involves having a deep trust in God's plan for your life, a willingness to rely on His plan and having a life characterized by consistent spiritual stability and action, rather than being swayed by external pressures or changing emotions.
Trust in God even though you do not fully understand His plan. Know that you can make a habit of relying on God's strength. Be willing to endure, practice humility and give up the need for instant gratification. Favor lasting faithfulness by learning to pursue God even when the feelings of His presence may seem distant to you. He wants you to have that unshakable faith that He is always with you through all the highs and lows of your life. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. One of my favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 41:10 which says:
Fear not, for I am with you:
Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
This is a very powerful passage which offers comfort and blessed assurance of His promise to be present with His people, strengthening them and giving them support through difficulties; urging you to not be afraid or anxious. Fear is our natural response to challenges of the unknown, however we can rest in the fact that NOTHING, but nothing, takes our Sovereign God by surprise.
