"OUT OF THE DARKNESS" POST 128

Having a heart of service means having a mindset of genuine desire to help others; to meet their needs.  Having a strong character of selflessness, empathy, humility and a focus on others' wellbeing rather than one's own gain.  It involves having a willingness to go the extra mile, and do what is necessary without complaint, contributing to the good of the community through acts of kindness, support and care without expecting anything in return.
Cultivating a servant's heart can be developed through small acts of kindness and focusing on your gratitude.  An humble heart is imperative to servanthood.
Try shifting your perspective from 'I have to' to 'I get to.'  Acts of service are a privilege, not a chore.  This shift can turn an obligation into a new opportunity to be greatful in your life.
Key characteristics of a servant's heart would be empathy, humility and deeply understanding and connecting with others.  Be a good listener.  Fostering a sense of togetherness, along with that deep understanding of other's needs and working together, managing resources responsibly for the greater good of all, is key. A leader having a servant's heart, works hard and sets an example for those around them.  Empathy is an important trait of a leader with a servant's heart.  It gives them the special ability to understand what others are thinking and feeling.  A person with a servant's heart speaks with power.  They love what the Creator loves and they seek God's purposes while inspiring trust.  They are a spiritual healer.
Honor is found in giving, not receiving; greatness being displayed in serving, not being served.  Take it to heart.

May Each One Be Blessed,

💞🕊
