"BUILDING YOUR GOD CONNECTION"

The very first thing you should do is to practice living in the present. This is sometimes very hard to do. You must be mindful to not stay stuck in the past or worried about what the future may hold.  We all have a past.
We all have regrets on things we did or didn't do.  Keep moving forward with intent...
Start setting aside time in your day to sit in silence; total silence, all alone, with your own thoughts and feelings.  It will possibly take a little while to feel comfortable being alone with your thoughts, however,  mindful meditation will accomplish inner healing like nothing else.  Let all the thoughts and feelings you have had buried for so long, float back to the surface.  When you sit in stillness, that is when God speaks softly.  You have only to open your heart and mind.
We are all of one energy.  We are all connected.  The animals, plants, trees.  We are part of them and they are part of us. 
This is why taking a walk in nature is so healing to our soul.
Plan to be outdoors and enjoy the sun's warmth on your face and the breeze giving you a sense of renewal.
We have been created to create.
God has given us all talents to be used for His honor and glory.
I am sure there is some kind of creative ability each individual has that was placed inside them.
Find your creative potential, something you love doing, and engage in your creative expression.  It is for God, it is for you and also the people you come into contact with throughout your lifetime.  Your creative expression radiates the light and love of God out into the universe.  There is no doubt, it makes Him smile.

"HEALING THERAPY"

There are several types of healing therapies that can get you on the road to the recovery of your emotional health.

1) I would say, most importantly, that bringing your hidden emotional traumas back up to the surface to be processed, although extremely difficult, allows you to cleanse your soul from within.  Once they are worked through, you can then release them.

2) You can connect your mind and body through exercise.

3) Learning to balance your body's energy system is a must.

Hollistic Therapies use a combination of all these things to treat mind, body and spirit.

If you can set definite goals for yourself and get into the routine of practicing these things in order to get better, you do not necessarily have to have an outside source guiding you.

Discipline yourself...

And by getting better from within, you will find that God will meet you there.

"GET MOVING"

This time of year comes with many days of anxiety and depression it seems, when we are between winter and the much awaited days of spring.
I have had many days recently when I was not feeling well at all.
I cannot emphasize enough, how important it is to spend time outdoors, when possible.
On the most dreary of days, I can take a walk in the cool crisp air or take a short hike through a beautiful wooded area, and it will immediately bring me out of the slump I would find myself in. 
By doing something active, especially on those type days, your world will become brighter.
It wouldn't have to be hiking, it could be anything that gives you an outlet to relieve your pent up negative thoughts.  
Get active!
