Nonconformity means resisting the patterns of this world, habits and associations to align yourself to christ-mindedness instead. It could be hunting physical seclusion in a remote location, to find clarity and a peace within, to escape the noise and demands of modern life.
You may experience a feeling of emotional disconnect to create mental distance or gain perspective by withdrawing from the overwhelm of worldly influences to find inner peace.
To find that inner peace, keep a positive mindset. Accept the things which cannot be changed and focus on the present moment. Take a nice walk in nature, breathe deeply and release your stressful, controlling thoughts and expectations. Live according to your core values and don't forget to prioritize your self-care. Let go of your worries and calm your turbulent mind. Many nights while trying to drift off to sleep, my thoughts are racing at me constantly. I like to tune them out by playing a relaxation sound app or putting on a frequency vibe video. They are very helpful for going off to sleep or for lessening pain in the body keeping you awake.
Never let your mind wander to the past. Focus on the here and now, in this very moment. The past problems can cause only anxiety and suffering.
Dedicate time daily to yourself; practice loving yourself and your uniqueness.
Release the need for perfection in yourself or others. Understand what truly matters to you and gain clarity on your life's path. Release all those burdens you have been holding on to; forgive them, forgive yourself. Foster relationships with people who help you find support and help you find peace. A person you can confide in and trust; they are like fine gold...very, very valuable in your life; keep them.
