"OUT OF THE DARKNESS" POST 101

What does it mean to be spiritually bankrupt?  Being an overly pessimistic person who chases happiness through material things and is very heavily led by ego.  At certain times in my life, I can certainly remember even the slightest problem could seem to become overwhelming, continuously worsening over time, with more trauma or issues adding to my already highly negative thought patterns.  I had such a negative mindset, everything, and I do mean everything, just seemed to be devastating to me.  I held on to every little thing, during those times, and let them grow inside my negative mind, until I would blow up when it all became too much.  This is why the Divine wants us to heal from the inside out.  I do not let things bother me like I used to.  I just let it roll right off my back, pick myself up, and keep on going.  This does not mean I do not have things bother me;  I just do not allow it to control my thoughts anymore.
Choose the right type of people to associate with for a good starting point.  If you hang with pessimistic people, you will certainly have a time keeping yourself thinking positively. Associate with true positive people who love God and abide by God's laws.  Do not criticize or harm those who want closeness with the Divine.  There is most certainly a void within every person which can only be filled by being restored in fellowship with Him.
Undergoing trauma such as losing material things are connected to the depth of the ego that needs healing.  It does not actually have a connection to the awakening process itself. You could lose things or become spiritually bankrupt without ever becoming spiritually awakened.  The same is true that you can awaken spiritually without ever losing any material goods or being bankrupt spiritually.  However, trauma can be a catalyst for introspection and people will start to look at themselves in a deeper way.
But too, deep suffering is not the only means to this.  A person could also become deeply curious about the truth and curious about themselves and wonder who they truly are.
Karmic debt is something we owe ourselves...WE ARE OUR OWN KARMA.  Karma is not something outside ourselves.  Karma means 'imprint' and every action we take, both inner and outer,  creates some kind of an imprint within us.  These imprints make us who we are; so we ARE our karma.  An imprint can lie dormant for lifetimes but at some point it will surface and will draw certain people and situations that match a particular imprint within you.  Such as an imprint of kindness draws more kindness to you.  If there is an imprint of negativity, selfishness or harm it draws the same to you; this is what karmic debt is.  We will magnetically draw situations that will trigger our imprints, whether it is with happiness or unhappiness, until we attain enlightenment.  At that point, our karmic imprints will fall off of us as leaves fall from a tree.
There are three spiritual reasons for anything we have in our lives:
(But do not want to experience from the ego's perspective)

1.  Karma

2.  Destiny (Soul planned                                 between lifetimes)

3.  Use or Misuse of free will
                   (By someone else)

Spiritual blockages are created by the residue of heavy emotions, past traumas or pain, which are stuck in your energetic body.  You can realize then, just what an effect this can have on someone who is not healed of all the past emotions and pain.  That's why these imprints have to be brought to the surface, healed and released.  Only then, can you truly move forward in your truth.
I hope this has helped you better understand how karma works within our lives.

Peace and Love,
💞🕊
